What is included
- Hosting or a server picked for the real load, not for a just-in-case reserve
- Domain, DNS, SSL certificate, and a redirect to one version of the address
- Mail on your domain and the records that keep site emails out of spam
- Deploys from the repository instead of copying files by hand
- Backups and a check that a restore from them actually works
- A list of accounts: what lives where and whose name it is in
How the work goes
- Look at what already exists: domain, hosting, mail, and who holds access
- Propose where the site lives and set up accounts in your name
- Configure the domain, certificate, deploys, and backups
- Hand over the access list and show how to check that everything works
When another format fits better
Round-the-clock server administration with an on-call shift, or a large infrastructure of many services. If the site lives on a builder, hosting is already part of its plan and a separate setup is not needed.
